Can I attend without my mother?

If your mother is unable to attend, you can bring a close female relative, such as a sister or aunt, to accompany you. Fathers are not allowed to attend, but they can be involved if there is a mutual match and families decide to take things further after the event.

How does the event work?

You will meet up to 50 potential matches through 5-minute introductions, followed by a 3-course meal for further conversations. Contact details are shared only if both parties agree after the event.

Can fathers attend the event?

Fathers cannot attend the event. However, they will have the opportunity to be involved if there is a mutual match and both families wish to proceed.

No, contact details will only be shared if both parties mutually agree after the event.

What if I don’t meet anyone I’m interested in?

You are not under any pressure to make a decision at the event. If you do not meet someone, you can attend future events or continue your search independently.

ARE CANDIDATES THEMSELVES ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE EVENT?

Yes – This event is for both candidates & representatives who are looking to pursue marriage.

IS THERE A COST INVOLVED?

A nominal fee will be charged to cover the cost of the venue. The event is organised and run entirely by non-paid volunteers.

CAN I TURN UP ON THE DAY WITHOUT PRE-BOOKING?

No. Pre booking is necessary in order to ensure smooth operation on the day and for the candidates to be grouped appropriately prior to the event.
